The character in the image is called Mashiro from the manga "Mai Otome".

The best is to read the manga, but below is a short description of his character and role in the story:





In the story the princess of the Wind Kingdom, Mashiro Hime, was found dead in the castle. To cover the news, a boy was made to take her place (nicknamed Manshiro). To further hide his identity, he was sent to Gardenrobe, an academy for the training maidens to become bodyguards of royals and political personnel in the world, known as Meister Otome.

Throughout the story his cowardly personality are slowly changing. At the climax of the series, when the world is near its end, he was given the stone, "Pure White Diamond", the proof of the true ruler, and with it and the power of all Meister Otome in the world, he summon his Robe (in the picture), and with it, prevent the world form disaster.



I particularly like this series due to the varied characters and their visual design. If you like this, you might like to have a look at the rest of the colourisation I have done on this manga series.

unfortunately it is not mine yet, as the manga series is not completely translated yet. Last time I checked the translated english version only released up to Book 3. This is from Book 5 of the manga, so at the moment I only use a (...illegal ...)copy I found in the net as the base picture.

I WILL buy it as soon as it is released though! I love this series too much!
